Description

These Air Fryer Candied Pecans are quick, easy to make, and irresistibly sweet! Coated in a sugary cinnamon mixture and air-fried to perfection, they’re the perfect snack or gift idea.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Prep the Coating: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  • Coat the Pecans: In a separate bowl, whisk the egg white and vanilla extract until frothy. Add the pecans to the egg mixture and toss until they’re evenly coated.
  • Add the Sugar Mixture: Pour the sugar mixture over the coated pecans and toss again to coat each pecan with the sweet mixture.
  • Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C) and place the pecans in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through for even cooking.
  • Cool and Serve: Once done, remove the pecans and spread them on parchment paper to cool. This will help the coating set.

Notes

  • Make sure the pecans are evenly coated with the egg mixture before adding the sugar to get the best candy coating.
  • If you want extra crunch, let the pecans cool for longer.
