Ingredients
-
1 lb chicken tenders, cut into 1½–2″ pieces
-
1 (1 oz) package dry ranch salad dressing mix
-
2 Tbsp flour
-
1 egg, lightly beaten
-
1 cup panko bread crumbs
-
Olive oil cooking spray
Instructions
-
Preheat air fryer to 390 °F (200 °C).
-
Place chicken and ranch mix in a bowl; toss to coat evenly. Let rest 5–10 min.
-
Set up dredging station: flour in a bag, beaten egg in a bowl, panko on a plate.
-
Shake chicken in flour bag, dip in egg (let excess drip), then roll in panko, pressing gently.
-
Lightly spray air fryer basket with oil; arrange chicken in a single layer.
-
Mist tops of chicken with cooking spray.
-
Air fry 4 min, flip pieces, cook another 4–5 min, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165 °F.
- Remove and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
-
Don’t overcrowd the basket—cook in batches if needed for best crispness.
-
Let coated chicken rest briefly before air frying to help the crust adhere.
-
Flavor variations: swap seasoning from ranch to spicy ranch, dill, or add smoked paprika.
- Olive oil spray enhances crispness without excess fat.
