- 2 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon apple pie spice
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Topping:
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the Apple Cider:
- Boil the apple cider in a saucepan until reduced by half. Let it cool.
- Preheat and Prepare Pan:
- Preheat your oven to 350F (175C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Mix Ingredients:
- Beat the butter and brown sugar together until fluffy. Add the egg and mix well.
- Gradually mix in the flour, apple pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold in the reduced apple cider until just combined.
- Bake the Bread:
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Add Topping:
- Brush the warm bread with melted butter. Sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- Let the bread cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
