Ingredients

  • 3 large apples, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to 350°F.
  • In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg.
  • Dredge apple wedges in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  • Fry apple wedges in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve with caramel sauce.

Notes
