The beef broth and heavy cream create a luscious sauce that ties it all together. Perfect for a hearty weeknight meal!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package potato gnocchi
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Add the crumbled cooked bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, potato gnocchi, beef broth, and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir everything together to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the gnocchi is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use turkey or chicken instead of ground beef for a lighter version of the dish.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, add more cheese or let the sauce simmer a little longer.
- For extra flavor, try adding garlic, herbs like thyme, or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
