Indulge in the rich, decadent layers of this Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle, where creamy cheesecake, smooth chocolate pudding, and chocolate cake come together with a hint of Baileys Irish Cream. This no-bake dessert is perfect for special occasions or as a show-stopping treat for your next dinner party!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients required on the package)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 (12 oz) container whipped topping
  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions. Allow the cake to cool, then crumble it into small pieces.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and Baileys Irish Cream until smooth.
  • Fold in half of the whipped topping until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until the mixture thickens.
  • To assemble the trifle, layer half of the crumbled cake at the bottom of a trifle dish or glass bowl.
  • Top with half of the cream cheese mixture, followed by half of the chocolate pudding.
  • Repeat the layering with the remaining crumbled cake, cream cheese mixture, and chocolate pudding.
  • Finish with a layer of whipped topping and garnish with chocolate shavings.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For an extra decadent touch, add more Baileys Irish Cream to the cream cheese mixture or drizzle a bit over the finished trifle.
  • You can use homemade chocolate cake for an even richer flavor if you prefer.
  • Garnish with chocolate curls, cocoa powder, or even a few extra crumbles of the cake for added texture.
