  • 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (9 oz) package chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and Baileys Irish Cream, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  • In another bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  • To assemble the trifle, layer the crushed chocolate wafer cookies, followed by the cream cheese mixture, and then the chocolate pudding in a trifle dish.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of chocolate pudding on top.
  • Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, garnish the trifle with chocolate shavings for an extra touch of elegance.

Notes

  • For a stronger Baileys flavor, you can increase the amount of Baileys Irish Cream.
  • You can also substitute the chocolate wafer cookies with crushed graham crackers or your favorite cookie.
