Description

These Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls are a delicious twist on the classic cinnamon roll. With ripe bananas, a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, and a touch of brown sugar, they bring a perfect balance of sweetness and warmth. A great breakfast treat or dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish and set it aside.
  • Slice the bananas and chop the walnuts.
  • In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Roll out the cinnamon rolls on a flat surface.
  • Spread melted butter over the dough.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly over the butter.
  • Add sliced bananas and chopped walnuts over the sugar mixture.
  • Roll up the dough and slice it into individual rolls.
  • Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, drizzle the included icing from the cinnamon roll package over the baked rolls.
  • You can substitute walnuts with pecans or leave them out for a nut-free version.
