These crispy chimichangas are filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/4 cup salsa (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Divide the beef mixture among the tortillas and roll them up tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Brush the chimichangas with olive oil and place them seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side, if desired.
Notes
Feel free to add other toppings such as guacamole or diced tomatoes for extra flavor.
