Description

These crispy chimichangas are filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup salsa (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Divide the beef mixture among the tortillas and roll them up tightly, tucking in the sides.
  • Brush the chimichangas with olive oil and place them seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side, if desired.

Notes

Feel free to add other toppings such as guacamole or diced tomatoes for extra flavor.
