Description

Your new go-to weeknight meal, Beef Lo Mein combines savory beef, fresh vegetables, and chewy noodles in a quick and satisfying dish that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup snow peas
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the mushrooms, carrots, bell pepper, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Return the beef to the pan, then pour in the sauce mixture. Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
