- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup snow peas
- 3 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the mushrooms, carrots, bell pepper, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan, then pour in the sauce mixture. Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
