Description

Berry Tiramisu Trifle combines the classic elegance of tiramisu with a fresh, fruity twist. Layers of dipped ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone, and vibrant berries create a decadent dessert that’s perfect for any special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using). Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure not to soak them.
  • Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a trifle dish or a large serving bowl.
  • In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and slightly thickened.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers.
  • Add a layer of fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries on top of the mascarpone mixture.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining dipped ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and berries.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves and additional fresh berries if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat mascarpone and adjust the sugar to taste. This trifle is perfect for summer gatherings or as a special treat to end a meal!
