Description
Crispy on the outside and packed with a flavorful pork and vegetable filling, these homemade egg rolls are a perfect appetizer or snack. Easy to make and delicious with your favorite dipping sauce.

- 1 pound ground pork
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground pork over medium heat until no longer pink. Add garlic and ginger, and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well and remove from heat.
- Place a spoonful of the filling onto an egg roll wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F. Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- You can use ground chicken or beef instead of pork for a different flavor.
- For a healthier version, try baking the egg rolls instead of frying them.
