  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1/4 cup Bisquick mix (for topping)
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray or butter.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the salt, then spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared pie plate. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, 1/2 cup Bisquick mix, 1/4 cup Bisquick mix, and eggs until smooth and well combined. Pour this mixture over the beef and cheese in the pie plate.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
