- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup Bisquick mix
- 1/4 cup Bisquick mix (for topping)
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray or butter.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the salt, then spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared pie plate. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, 1/2 cup Bisquick mix, 1/4 cup Bisquick mix, and eggs until smooth and well combined. Pour this mixture over the beef and cheese in the pie plate.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
