Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreos)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 container whipped topping (8 oz)
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
Instructions
- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor until finely crushed. Mix the cookie crumbs with the melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form a crust.
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in half of the whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the prepared cookie crust.
- In a separate bowl, mix the blackberries with the sugar, tossing gently to coat. Spread the sweetened blackberries evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with the remaining whipped topping, spreading it evenly over the blackberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld together.
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
- You can use frozen blackberries if fresh ones aren’t available, but be sure to thaw and drain them before use.
- For a twist, you can drizzle melted chocolate over the top of the whipped topping before serving.
- This dessert can be made a day ahead, making it perfect for busy occasions.
