- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons blackened seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the steaks and shrimp with blackened seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in the skillet and sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and let rest. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce. Slice the rested steaks and arrange on top of the pasta, along with the shrimp.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
