Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until well coated with flour.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and egg until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
