Description

This easy and delicious one-pan meal combines the flavors of tacos and pasta for a cheesy, savory dinner everyone will love. Ground beef, taco seasoning, salsa, and rotini pasta come together to create a flavorful, cheesy dish that’s quick to make and perfect for busy nights!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups uncooked rotini pasta
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, diced tomatoes, green onions

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning, water, salsa, and uncooked pasta. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the pasta is tender and the liquid has absorbed.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Let the cheese melt.
  • Serve with optional toppings like sour cream, diced tomatoes, and green onions. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra spice, you can use a spicy salsa or add diced jalapeños.
  • Feel free to swap out rotini pasta for any other pasta shape you like, such as penne or elbow macaroni.
