Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti is a comforting and creamy dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights. With tender chicken, a rich cheese sauce, and perfectly cooked spaghetti, it’s a family favorite that’s quick and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until no longer pink in the center.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the cheese sauce.
  • Season with dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of white wine to the sauce. This cheesy chicken spaghetti is perfect for a comforting family meal and pairs well with a side salad.
