Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese sticks cut into small pieces)
- 24 slices pepperoni (about 3 slices per bomb)
- 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce, plus more for dipping
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a small disc using your fingers or a rolling pin.
- Place 1-2 slices of pepperoni in the center of each biscuit, followed by a spoonful of mozzarella cheese (or cheese pieces). Add a teaspoon of marinara sauce over the cheese.
- Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling, pinching them together to seal the bombs tightly.
- Place the pizza bombs seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with this mixture.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the tops.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
- Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- You can substitute the mozzarella cheese with a blend of your favorite pizza cheeses.
- For a spicier version, add a few red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
