Description

These Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are a fun and delicious twist on traditional pizza! Soft, pillowy biscuit dough is filled with melty mozzarella cheese and savory pepperoni, then brushed with a garlic-butter topping and sprinkled with Italian seasoning and Parmesan. Perfect for game day or a quick snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese sticks cut into small pieces)
  • 24 slices pepperoni (about 3 slices per bomb)
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce, plus more for dipping
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  • Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a small disc using your fingers or a rolling pin.
  • Place 1-2 slices of pepperoni in the center of each biscuit, followed by a spoonful of mozzarella cheese (or cheese pieces). Add a teaspoon of marinara sauce over the cheese.
  • Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling, pinching them together to seal the bombs tightly.
  • Place the pizza bombs seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with this mixture.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the tops.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
  • Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute the mozzarella cheese with a blend of your favorite pizza cheeses.
  • For a spicier version, add a few red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
