- 4 bagels
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped (canned or frozen, thawed and drained)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Mix Base: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
- Add Ingredients: Stir in the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Prepare Bagels: Slice the bagels in half and place them on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.
- Spread Mixture: Evenly spread the spinach-artichoke mixture over the cut side of each bagel half.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bagels are toasted.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For an extra kick, consider adding more crushed red pepper flakes or a splash of hot sauce.
- These can also be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
