Description

These Cherry Cream Crescents are a delightful combination of flaky crescent dough, creamy cheese filling, and sweet cherry pie filling, all topped with a dusting of powdered sugar. Perfect for a quick breakfast or dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Make Cream Cheese Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Prepare Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Spread a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle.
  • Add Cherry Filling: Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll Up Crescents: Roll up each crescent, starting at the wide end, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Dust with Powdered Sugar: Allow the crescents to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, you can drizzle a little glaze over the cooled crescents for added sweetness.
