  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the chicken breasts until no longer pink in the center. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour until smooth.
  • Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  • Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted.
  • Place the cooked chicken breasts and diced potatoes in a baking dish. Pour the creamy cheese sauce over the top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
