Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Add the broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything together to coat evenly, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use frozen broccoli if fresh is not available. Just make sure to thaw and drain it before adding.
- For a lighter version, you can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.
- Feel free to add extra seasonings, like garlic powder or Italian seasoning, for more flavor.
