- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the carrots and celery, then simmer until tender.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and butter to form a dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the soup and cook for 10 minutes, until the dumplings are fluffy.
- Add the shredded chicken and simmer for another 5 minutes.
