Description

This Chicken Katsu features crispy, golden-brown chicken breasts coated in panko breadcrumbs, served with savory tonkatsu sauce. A delicious and satisfying dish that’s easy to prepare!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Tonkatsu sauce for serving

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve with tonkatsu sauce.

Notes

Serve with rice and shredded cabbage for a complete meal.
