- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Add sliced flank steak to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, bell peppers, and onion to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture into the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
- Serve hot over rice.
Notes
- You can substitute flank steak with sirloin or round steak if preferred.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of sesame oil.
