- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour and baking soda until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
