- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3 eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, 2 eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped pecans and powdered sugar.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add chocolate chips or mini chocolate chunks into the cream cheese mixture.
