Description

These Churro Cheesecake Bars are a decadent dessert with a sweet, creamy cheesecake center sandwiched between flaky crescent dough and topped with a cinnamon-sugar crust. A perfect mix of cheesecake and churros in one!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent dough
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Press one can of crescent dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent dough in the baking dish.
  • Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Pour the melted butter over the top layer of crescent dough.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle with caramel sauce or a dusting of powdered sugar before serving. These bars are best enjoyed when they have cooled slightly, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
