- 4 cups cubed bread (day-old works best)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar mix for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Toss cubed bread with melted butter and pour the egg mixture over the bread. Let it soak for 5 minutes.
- Scoop the bread mixture into the muffin tin.
- Sprinkle each muffin with cinnamon sugar mix.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed up. Let cool slightly before serving.
