Description

Enjoy a delightful breakfast treat with these Cinnamon Sugar French Toast Muffins. Soft and custardy on the inside, they’re topped with a sweet cinnamon sugar crust, perfect for any morning!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cubed bread (day-old works best)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar mix for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  • In a bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Toss cubed bread with melted butter and pour the egg mixture over the bread. Let it soak for 5 minutes.
  • Scoop the bread mixture into the muffin tin.
  • Sprinkle each muffin with cinnamon sugar mix.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and puffed up. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with maple syrup or fresh fruit for an extra special touch.
