These Cookie Dough Bars are a no-bake treat that captures the flavor of classic chocolate chip cookie dough without the need for baking. With a rich, buttery base, sweet brown sugar, and loads of mini chocolate chips, these bars are a perfect indulgence for any sweet tooth. Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the mixture, stirring until everything is fully incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and press the cookie dough mixture evenly into the dish.
  • Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until it becomes firm.
  • Once chilled, cut into bars and serve. Enjoy your delicious, no-bake treat!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can toast the flour in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes before using it to ensure it’s safe to eat raw.
  • If you prefer larger chocolate chunks, you can swap the mini chips for regular-sized ones.
  • These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
