Description

These Cowboy Butter Lobster Tails are the perfect combination of tender lobster meat and rich, flavorful cowboy butter. Grilled to perfection and brushed with a zesty, garlic-infused butter sauce, they make a luxurious yet simple dish perfect for any special occasion or a fancy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  • Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top of the lobster shell down to the tail, making sure to leave the meat attached at the tail end.
  • Gently loosen the lobster meat from the shell, being careful not to detach it from the tail.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme. Stir well to mix all the ingredients together.
  • Brush the lobster tails generously with the butter mixture, making sure to get some between the meat and the shell for extra flavor.
  • Place the lobster tails on the preheated grill and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
  • Serve the lobster tails hot, with the remaining cowboy butter sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • For an extra smoky flavor, you can add a touch of lemon zest or smoked paprika to the butter sauce.
  • If you prefer to cook the lobster tails in the oven, broil them for about 8-10 minutes at 450°F (230°C), brushing them with butter every few minutes.
