Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top of the lobster shell down to the tail, making sure to leave the meat attached at the tail end.
- Gently loosen the lobster meat from the shell, being careful not to detach it from the tail.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme. Stir well to mix all the ingredients together.
- Brush the lobster tails generously with the butter mixture, making sure to get some between the meat and the shell for extra flavor.
- Place the lobster tails on the preheated grill and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Serve the lobster tails hot, with the remaining cowboy butter sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
- For an extra smoky flavor, you can add a touch of lemon zest or smoked paprika to the butter sauce.
- If you prefer to cook the lobster tails in the oven, broil them for about 8-10 minutes at 450°F (230°C), brushing them with butter every few minutes.
