Description

This creamy, cheesy crab casserole is the ultimate comfort food. Made with imitation crab, tangy sour cream, and two types of cheese, it’s baked to golden perfection. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a potluck favorite, this dish delivers savory flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb imitation crab meat, chopped or shredded

  • 3 green onions, chopped (white and green parts included)

  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup sour cream

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.

  • Stir in the garlic powder, mustard powder, and salt.

  • Add the imitation crab, green onions, and Swiss cheese. Mix well to combine.

  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.

  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with a golden top.

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute real crab meat for imitation crab if preferred.

  • Add a splash of lemon juice for a zesty flavor boost.

  • Serve with crusty bread or over rice for a heartier meal.
