Description

This refreshing Crab Salad combines tender crab meat with crisp vegetables and a creamy dressing, making it a perfect light meal or appetizer for seafood lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound crab meat, picked over for shells
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine crab meat, celery, red bell pepper, red onion, and parsley.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning if using.
  • Gently fold the mayonnaise mixture into the crab mixture until well combined.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve chilled, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in a dash of hot sauce or serving with crackers.
