Description

Deliciously flaky and filled with creamy spinach, these puff pastry bites are the perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, spinach, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Cut puff pastry into squares. Add a spoonful of cream cheese mixture to each square.
  • Fold pastry over to form triangles and seal edges with a fork.
  • Brush with beaten egg and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other herbs or spices to the filling for extra flavor.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen; just bake from frozen for a few extra minutes.
