- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb spicy sausage, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Add the shrimp and cook until pink. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the bell peppers, onion, and garlic until softened.
- Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Add the cooked pasta, shrimp, and sausage back to the skillet. Stir until everything is heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a spicier kick, consider adding red pepper flakes. You can also substitute the sausage with chicken or andouille sausage for more flavor.
