Scale
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb spicy sausage, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Add the shrimp and cook until pink. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the bell peppers, onion, and garlic until softened.
  • Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Add the cooked pasta, shrimp, and sausage back to the skillet. Stir until everything is heated through.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding red pepper flakes. You can also substitute the sausage with chicken or andouille sausage for more flavor.
