- 2 cans Chunk Chicken Breast
- 1/2 cup Chopped Almonds
- 2 stalks Celery, chopped
- 1 Crisp Red or Green Apple, chopped
- 2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Dried Parsley
- 4 tbsp Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- 2 tbsp Sour Cream
Instructions
- Open and drain the cans of chunk chicken breast, then shred the chicken with a fork.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the shredded chicken, chopped almonds, chopped celery, and chopped apple.
- Add the Cajun seasoning, dried parsley, mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip), and sour cream to the bowl.
- Stir all the ingredients together until fully combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can swap the almonds for any other nuts or leave them out for a nut-free version.
- Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
