Description

This creamy Cajun Spiced Chicken Salad combines tender chicken, crunchy almonds, and fresh celery with a zesty Cajun kick. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal, it’s easy to make and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans Chunk Chicken Breast
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Almonds
  • 2 stalks Celery, chopped
  • 1 Crisp Red or Green Apple, chopped
  • 2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
  • 2 tbsp Sour Cream

Instructions

  • Open and drain the cans of chunk chicken breast, then shred the chicken with a fork.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the shredded chicken, chopped almonds, chopped celery, and chopped apple.
  • Add the Cajun seasoning, dried parsley, mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip), and sour cream to the bowl.
  • Stir all the ingredients together until fully combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • You can swap the almonds for any other nuts or leave them out for a nut-free version.
  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
