- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions and drain.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef with garlic, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and cooked beef.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese and beef mixture, and arrange them in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and cover with foil. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil, and bake for another 10 minutes to let the cheese melt.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
