- 1 box jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook pasta shells according to package instructions and drain.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cooked beef, egg, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Fill each pasta shell with the ricotta beef mixture.
- Pour half of the marinara sauce into the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells on top, then cover with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or basil for added flavor.
