- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb crabmeat
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a pot, melt butter and sauté onion until translucent.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add seafood stock and wine, stirring until smooth.
- Add shrimp, crabmeat, and Old Bay seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes until the seafood is cooked.
- Stir in the cream and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Adjust the seasoning to taste. Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
