Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a bowl, mix together the grated cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, and dried parsley.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the milk, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dredge it in the cheese and breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts in a greased baking dish.
  • Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the chicken breasts.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F) and the cheese crust is golden and crispy.
