  • 1 (30 oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a crockpot, combine chicken broth, frozen hash browns, cream of chicken soup, chopped onion, and black pepper.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the ingredients are well combined.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
