Description

Enjoy a hearty and creamy Crockpot Creamy Tortellini, packed with Italian sausage, spinach, and rich flavors. A perfect set-it-and-forget-it meal for busy days!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat. Drain and set aside.
  • In your crockpot, combine the sausage, tortellini, diced tomatoes, spinach, chicken broth, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir to mix everything evenly.
  • Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the tortellini is tender.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let it cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
