- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 6 hoagie rolls
- 6 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in a crockpot and add sliced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and black pepper.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Once cooked, shred the beef and serve on hoagie rolls topped with provolone cheese.
- Pour the cooking liquid into bowls for dipping and serve alongside the sandwiches.
