This Crockpot Lasagna is a hearty and delicious dish that layers pasta, meat sauce, and creamy cheese for an effortless, slow-cooked meal. Perfect for busy weeknights!

- 9 lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat and stir in the marinara sauce. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce at the bottom of the crockpot. Layer 3 uncooked lasagna noodles on top, followed by half of the ricotta mixture and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers: meat sauce, noodles, ricotta, and mozzarella until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of meat sauce and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the noodles are tender.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For added flavor, you can sprinkle some extra Italian seasoning between the layers.
