Description

This easy-to-make crockpot casserole features soft, cheesy pierogies paired with savory kielbasa in a creamy, flavorful broth. The slow-cooking process ensures the perfect balance of flavors, making it a hearty meal your family will love.


Ingredients

  • 3 packages of Mrs. T’s Cheddar Pierogies

  • 4 cups of chicken broth

  • 1 8-ounce block of cream cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray or lightly grease it.

  • Add the chicken broth, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced kielbasa into the crockpot. Stir to combine.

  • Layer the pierogies on top of the mixture in the crockpot, spreading them evenly.

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the pierogies are tender and heated through.

  • Stir the casserole halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.

 

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • You can add sautéed onions or garlic for an extra burst of flavor if desired.

  • If you want a bit more richness, you can top the casserole with extra shredded cheddar cheese in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
