- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the flour in another shallow dish and beat the eggs in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Toast the hamburger buns in the oven for a few minutes.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing a chicken breast on each bun and adding lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise, if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding some hot sauce or pickles to your sandwich.
- You can also fry the chicken breasts for a crispier result, but baking is a healthier option.
