Description

This crispy and flavorful chicken sandwich features perfectly breaded and baked chicken breasts, served on a toasted bun with optional lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. A satisfying meal the whole family will love!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the flour in another shallow dish and beat the eggs in a third dish.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Toast the hamburger buns in the oven for a few minutes.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing a chicken breast on each bun and adding lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise, if desired.
