- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook Steak Bites: In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Set Steak Aside: Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- Cook Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp of butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Cook Potatoes: Add the potatoes to the skillet and cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- Mash Potatoes: Mash the potatoes with a potato masher and stir in the milk until smooth.
- Combine Steak and Garlic Butter: Return the steak to the skillet and stir to combine with the garlic butter sauce.
- Serve: Serve the steak bites over the mashed potatoes and garnish with chopped parsley.
