Description

These adorable Easter Egg Oreo Cookie Balls are a fun and festive treat! With a creamy center made from Golden Oreos and cream cheese, dipped in smooth white candy coating, and decorated with colorful icing, they’re the perfect addition to your Easter celebrations. Easy to make and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14.3 oz package (36 cookies) Golden Oreos, crushed into crumbs

  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature

  • 10 oz white candy coating

  • Additional 1 oz of white candy coating per color, for decorating

  • Gel icing colors (your choice of colors for decoration)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the crushed Golden Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.

  • Roll the Oreo mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper or parchment.

  • Freeze the Oreo balls for at least 20 minutes to firm up.

  • While the Oreo balls are chilling, melt the white candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted and smooth.

  • Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted candy coating, making sure it’s fully coated. Tap off any excess coating and return the balls to the lined baking sheet.

  • Melt the additional candy coating (1 oz per color) and divide into separate bowls. Add the gel icing colors to each bowl and stir until the desired color is achieved.

  • Once the Oreo balls are coated and set, use the colored candy coating to drizzle or decorate them to resemble Easter eggs. You can also pipe designs with the gel icing.

  • Let the decorated cookie balls set completely, about 10–15 minutes, before serving.

Notes

  • You can store these in the refrigerator for up to a week.

  • If you prefer a different flavor, you can swap Golden Oreos for regular Oreos or another flavor of your choice.

  • If you don’t have candy coating, you can use white chocolate chips or melting wafers, though candy coating sets more quickly and smoothly.
