Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces or chopped Reese’s cups
- Optional: Additional Reese’s for topping
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in Reese’s: Gently fold in the Reese’s Pieces or chopped Reese’s cups until evenly distributed.
- Shape Cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Slightly flatten the tops with your hand or a spoon.
- Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft. Avoid overbaking to keep the cookies gooey.
- Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Add extra Reese’s on top while still warm if desired.
- Serve: Enjoy these rich, creamy, and chocolatey cookies as a decadent dessert or holiday treat!
